Painting concrete floors not only takes specialized paint, but also requires a knowledgeable painting crew to apply it properly. This facility utilizes electric forklifts, so we marked the loading and travel areas used by the forklift operators, but we also striped the charging zones in the facility. We used a special acid-resistant epoxy paint on the loading areas.
The paint, Sherwin-Williams Resuflor CRN, is a two-component, high-solids novolac-based secondary containment topping/lining that offers superior protection. Given the amount of traffic over these painted lines, nothing but the most durable paint product would suffice. It was also important to be precise, so Painters Inc. professionals carefully measured and outlined the areas to be painted before applying new lines.
