The owner of this large warehouse located in Carol Stream brought in Painters Inc. to paint the high walls and many columns throughout the facility, which is part of a screw manufacturing plant. To ensure the project looked great and results lasted for many years, we chose Sherwin-Williams Pro Industrial Multi-Surface acrylic paint and the brand’s Industrial Enamel alkyd paint.
The acrylic paint is perfect for wall coverage, providing a fine aesthetic, yet offering a protective layer of durable paint that can hold up to frequent cleaning. The alkyd paint adheres well to steel and other metals in the facility, providing excellent protection against rust and corrosion. Painters Inc. has used Sherwin-Williams for many years and trusts this brand for large projects such as this.

Because this warehouse is in operation 24 hours a day, it required plenty of planning in order for the painting project to be completed as planned, but without getting in the way of daily operations.
No matter how complex the project, the planning phase is among the most important, as this is where we communicate with the client, making sure to understand all the unique needs of the project. In this situation, we planned for plenty of prep, as the walls needed to be cleaned of oil prior to painting, which we tackled in an around-the-clock fashion using multiple teams.
