The preeminent Chicago real estate firm, CBRE, has a massive, 120,000 square foot facility in Woodridge. Management wanted the warehouse painted in a three-week timeframe. A job of this scale and in that timeframe required Painters Inc. to mobilize three teams using four scissor lifts. Prior to painting, we cleaned all the metal decking and the walls with an air blasting technique.
We used a total of 1,300 liters of paint for the metal decking and bar joints, and we used Sherwin Williams Dryfall paints in an airless spray application on the interior ceilings and wall areas, which weren’t subject to as much wear as other parts of the warehouse. Following the completion of the painting, we executed a final cleaning, which included using floor scrubbers.
